August 6-22 | Gandules outdoor film festival
A series of films are screened in the deckchair-strewn patio of the CCCB. The event is for free, so it gets extremely crowded – make sure to arrive early! It will take place every Tuesdays, Wednesday and Thursday at 22:00h

August 8-18 | Circuit Festival
The biggest international gay and lesbian event is not only a party and music festival, but so much more. It also includes literary readings, talks, debates, workshops, documentary film festivals and, sports such as football tournaments, beach volleyball, fitness courses, longboard outings and even yoga sessions.

August 15-21 | Festa Major de Gràcia
The main event is a competition, where residents transform the streets of Gracia into pirate ships, rainforests and Jurassic landscapes. The festival opens with giants and castles in Plaça de la Vila de Gràcia, and climaxes with a “Correfoc” and a “Castell de Focs” (castle of fireworks). In between, there are many exciting activities, from concerts to “Sardane” and bouncy castles.
